Community service plays a vital role in sensitising the students/children right from their childhood. Most of our school students are the privileged ones, having access to get their needs fulfilled without even anticipating it. On the contrast, there exists another community where even basic needs of the people including children are seldom met on daily basis. Community services provides an opportunity for the privileged ones to empathise with these children, understand the harsh realities of life and hereby, intermingle with them, help them and most importantly, treat them with respect and dignity.
